英语老师给还在高三的同学们写的一段话，为他们明天的英语一考加油。一贯的水准，非常响亮的冲锋号。

Dear Decathletes and Nine Lives (again),
Check out the movie Full Metal Jacket. It's not that you will pick up a slew of swear words (some of you are already experts - you will still be humbled) but that you seem to me like the recruits nearing the end of boot camp, raring to take on the battle.
You have scaled the rite of passage, cutting your teeth on rigorous training. You've parsed sophisticated syntax and battered vocabulary books (and gave me a lesson from time to time). You've produced peerless prose and forayed into multiple languages. You've staged runaway - Broadway, for that matter - presentations, plays and musicals. Baptized by the most brutal test papers and fortified by WODs and unearthly translations curated by your tender taskmaster, you've emerged invincible. Conversant with contemporary letters and equally at ease poring over the classics, you are incredibly versatile. Heck, you can even recite Sonnet 18 to your sweethearts.
At this moment of truth, an irrepressible force is stirring within you. Go forth and claim the trophy. Face it head-on, show no mercy, for that is the utmost respect. Power to ye all - masters of fate, captains of thy souls!
